About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Las Vegas’ bustling Spring Mountain corridor, Rice to Go is a must-visit destination for lovers of authentic Chinese cuisine served with generous portions and unbeatable value. This cozy yet no-frills eatery specializes in classic Chinese dishes that embrace bold, comforting flavors, perfect for both quick takeout runs and satisfying family meals.

The moment you bite into their House Fried Rice, a crowd favorite highlighted by customer Bree Hamilton, you’ll appreciate the harmonious blend of shrimp, pork, chicken, and eggs tossed with fluffy rice, delivering a savory punch in every mouthful. The fragrant Shrimp Fried Rice and hearty Beef Chow Mein are equally enticing, boasting the perfect combination of tender proteins and fresh vegetables.

Appetizer lovers will find irresistible treats such as crispy Egg Rolls and golden Fried Wontons that satisfy both palette and pocket. Dive into the delicate texture of Siomai (pork shumai) or indulge in the satisfying chew of the Manapua Baked Char Siu Buns, which Brandon Huang beautifully describes as enormous and filled with rich, savory pork that melts in your mouth. The Hot & Sour Soup offers warming, zingy notes that perfectly complement the meal, making Rice to Go a wholesome experience from beginning to end.

The dining atmosphere is straightforward and efficient—just what you want when you're craving delicious food without fuss. As Bree Hamilton remarked, the “great food and no nonsense service” make every visit a seamless delight. It’s a place where efficiency meets authenticity, ideal for those who appreciate flavor and portion size over haute décor. Some customers like Mr. Johnson note the humble, no-frills interior that might look rough around the edges but trust that the food here speaks volumes and transports you to the streets of classic Chinese food stalls.

Whether you’re craving the nostalgic comfort of egg foo young with flavorful gravy, as Bree Small praised, or searching for a family-friendly feast with portions that can easily feed three, Rice to Go answers with a reliably satisfying menu, unbeatable prices, and friendly service. If you’re in Las Vegas and want a genuine taste of Chinese food that doesn’t cut corners on flavor or quantity, Rice to Go is a delicious, down-to-earth choice you won’t regret.

I placed an order for their house special fried rice. It comes with all the meat options, including shrimp. The food was ready right away and the to go plate was packed, so great portion sizes. The flavor of the fried rice is delicious. I love a good whole in the walk with great food and no nonsense service.

OMG!! I just left this place like 30mins ago and I will be coming back FOR SURE!!! I’ve been searching high and low for egg foo young with gravy that has flavor!!! The crab Rangoon is delicious too! I also got mushroom chicken, haven’t tried it yet but it smells good. Great portions, worth the money!!

This place looks like it has several health code violations, but the food is amazing...Im from New York and the chinese food there is not good unless the outside looks disgusting... This place is definitely giving those vibes... The portions could feed at least three people. And the price point was great, but the inside looks like Wuhan China... I would definitely recommend their food but caution when going in..

Solid food, cheap prices, friendly staff. What’s not to love? Enormous char siu bao, fork for scale.

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch. Not only did we have an amazing lunch but we were able to take home dinner as well for our entire family of 5. The server / cashier (who may be the owner) was very friendly and accommodating. The orange chicken was crunchy and the sauce was tangy there was chicken pieces underneath the tempura that were tender this is not your Panda Express orange chicken folks the orange chicken does come with a side of rice that was nice and fluffy (not sticky) the chicken fried rice had literal grilled chicken strips in it & it too was nice and fluffy. We also got a six pack of cookies for dessert. So for less than $43 we not only ATE WELL once but we will eat well again real soon. The dining room was warm so I would get it to go next time. They have a diverse clientele population because as we sat there and ate our lunch there were people who came in to pick up stuff to go and to order in and they were from all walks of life so I do appreciate that. It reminds me of the old SS fish and chips building off of Lake Mead & Las Vegas boulevard back in the day. I felt safe & that's important in areas of town I normally don't stop in I happen to feel safest around those with tattoos.
